COPYWRITING. UX. MARKETING. STRATEGY.
COPYWRITING. UX. MARKETING. STRATEGY.
They’re all just words.
Snappy headlines for brand campaigns. UX wayfinding for complex user flows. Voice and tone guidelines. Alt text for accessibility. Clever zingers for social posts. Pitch decks and case studies. SEO blogs. Journalism. Podcasting. Ghostwriting.
But words are everything.
No matter what you’re building, you need someone who can help you develop your narrative, establish rules, build consistency, tweak the grammar, and ultimately deliver the best possible experience for you and your clientele.
That’s where I come in.
I’ve done all of the above in my 15 years of experience with words of all kinds, from copywriting for AAA brands and scrappy startups to award-winning work as a journalist. And I’d be more than happy to lend my expertise to your project.

SELECTED CLIENTS.
Chrome
Reimagined the Chrome.com experience from top to bottom, owning all copy from the wireframes stage through final production. Worked with strategists, product, UX designers, and Google stakeholders to ensure the site is much more than just a download button. Read a case study about my work on Chrome.
Hootsuite
Researched, wrote, and published multiple longform articles to bolster Hootsuite’s reputation as the leader in all things social media. Research topics included everything from understanding the Twitter algorithm to navigating newer apps like Kakao Talk. Read my Hootsuite posts.
Android
Wrote copy for Android’s Better Together campaign, which showcases how Android and Google devices can simplify users’ lives as they drive, cook, workout, and move their media. Visit the Better Together site. Offered copy support on Android’s campaign calling out Apple on texting. Visit the Get the Message site.
Cineplex
Cineplex was looking for a way to promote their Metropolitan Opera series to a younger, more film-focused audience, so I wrote a series of blog posts that connected ancient operas to films that Exclaim!’s readers were more familiar with. Read my Cineplex x Met Opera posts.
MORE ABOUT ME.
MORE ABOUT ME.
I’m currently employed as a full-time copywriter for Huge Inc., where I’ve contributed to projects for companies like Google, Android, Santander, Cox Communications, and many others.
Truthfully, I’ve been working with words for as long as I can remember. I’ve freelanced for telehealth and artificial turf companies, ran socials for magazines, and even helped ghostwrite the memoirs for a quirky inventor (for real!).
Prior to my work as a copywriter, I was a music and film journalist, covering TIFF and Sundance and interviewing artists of all sizes for many years. When I wasn’t writing words, I was talking them on my cultishly adored podcast Blink-155. (There are dozens of strangers around the world with Blink-155 tattoos.)
I’m currently based in Montreal, but comfortable working remotely or even travelling if the work so requires.
